To Abu Dhabi

Tag: ADDC 2011,UncategorizedKal @ 6:30 am

In a Landcruiser packed with clinic equipment and response bags, we wave goodbye to family and friends and drive on 12 lane highways to Abu Dhabi.

An IPod gets plugged in and the three of us sing along to The Cure in the sunshine.

I’m loving these little vignettes of your life atm – keep up the great work.
And how come if I took pics like these they’d just look like snaps, while yours are works of art that look like they could be on gallery walls. Jealous much!

    You’ll like it there.
Apparently, the citizens of Dubai don’t like The Flintstones, but those in Abu Dhabi do.

    *gets coat*

There are photos of this incident that look like the highway was strafed by a jet fighter. Horrible crash, largely due to the locals habit of drivingh in fog with their hazards on, so you can’t tell whether the hazards in front of you are stopped traffic, or just somebody playing with the buttons on their dashboard.
